Browsing the modules library
Every module you generate is saved to your Modules Library, whether the run finished, failed, or is still going — this page covers finding the one you want. For what happens on a card once you’ve found it, see generating your first module and previewing a module in Odoo. Finding a module’s test logins again after you’ve left the completion screen is covered below.
Searching and filtering by status
Section titled “Searching and filtering by status”Type in the search box to filter by module name. Alongside it, status filters narrow the list by the module’s verdict: Ready, Needs attention, Blocked, Working, or Imported (if module import is enabled). An All filter shows modules in any state.
Filtering by category
Section titled “Filtering by category”Each module carries a category — OdoMate suggests one automatically from a fixed list (Sales, CRM, Inventory & Logistics, Manufacturing, and so on) when it names the module during generation, falling back to Other if nothing on the list fits. Only a module generated before this existed, or one whose generation failed before a category could be assigned, shows as Uncategorized.
Use the category dropdown next to the status filters to narrow the library to one category, or to just the uncategorized ones.
Changing a module’s category
Section titled “Changing a module’s category”In the table view (list mode), the category column shows the module’s category as an editable badge. Click it to open the category picker and select a different one, or pick Uncategorized to clear it — the change saves immediately, no separate save step, and applies to every version of that module, not just the one you clicked. In card view, the category appears as a read-only badge.
Finding a module’s test logins later
Section titled “Finding a module’s test logins later”If a module defines more than one security group, its completion screen listed role-specific test logins the moment generation finished (see previewing a module in Odoo). Those aren’t a one-time offer — the same logins reappear on the module’s card here, so losing track of that screen doesn’t mean losing track of them.
Look for a Test logins row near the bottom of the card, badged with how many logins are available. Click it to expand the list — the same rows as the completion screen: one per role, plus your main sandbox login.
