Interface language

OdoMate’s interface — the marketing site, the blog, and the signed-in app — is available in English and Ukrainian. This page covers how the language is chosen and where to change it; the Preferences card walk-through lives on Profile preferences.

English is the default and has no prefix: odomate.pro, odomate.pro/login, odomate.pro/blog. Ukrainian pages live under a /uk prefix instead: odomate.pro/uk, odomate.pro/uk/login, odomate.pro/uk/blog. Everything after the prefix stays the same — only the language segment changes.

These documentation pages follow the same /uk convention as the app: docs.odomate.pro/uk is the Ukrainian version of docs.odomate.pro. Not every page is translated yet — one that is not shows its English text under the Ukrainian URL, with a note saying so, rather than sending you back to the English site.

On your first visit, with no language chosen yet, OdoMate reads your browser’s language and sends you to the matching version — Ukrainian for a browser set to Ukrainian, English otherwise. Whichever language you land on or switch to after that is then remembered for later visits, so it stays put even if your browser’s language changes.

Once you’re signed in, a two-button EN / UK switcher is always available:

  1. On desktop, open the account menu (your avatar in the sidebar footer) and find the Language row.
  2. On mobile, open More in the bottom navigation and use the Language row in the sheet that opens.

Switching takes effect immediately — no separate save step — and keeps you on the same page and tab you were already on. It also sets the language OdoMate remembers for you, so marketing and blog pages you visit afterward open in that language too.
