Sandbox credentials

Every account has one Odoo login for signing into its sandboxes — the preview databases you open from a completed generation (see previewing a module in Odoo). OdoMate creates this login the first time you sign in; there’s nothing to set up, and it’s separate from your OdoMate account password.

Open your Profile page and look for Test environment credentials.

  1. The Username field is the email address on your OdoMate account.
  2. The Password field shows a masked, auto-generated password. Click the eye icon to reveal it, or use either field’s Copy button to copy the value without revealing it on screen.

Use this login wherever a sandbox’s own sign-in screen asks for one. It’s the same login for every database OdoMate has generated for you — you don’t get a new one per module.

If you want a fresh password — for example, you shared the old one and want to revoke it — use Regenerate password on the credentials card.

After you confirm, OdoMate pushes the new password out to each of your kept sandboxes. If one or more couldn’t be updated right away, the card tells you how many failed and to retry later — regenerating again (or simply waiting) re-syncs any environment that’s still on the old password.

If a module defines more than one security group, its completion screen also lists role-specific test logins (alias addresses like you+manager@example.com) that use this same password. Those cover testing what each role can see and do — see the “Testing more than one role” section of previewing a module in Odoo — while the credentials on your Profile page are the one login that always has full access.
