Profile preferences
Your profile page holds two settings you can change any time: how OdoMate’s AI talks to you while writing requirements, and which language the interface is shown in.
Open your profile
Section titled “Open your profile”Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the header, on any page. That opens your profile, which also shows your account details (name, email, member-since date) and, separately, your test-environment credentials — this page covers only the Preferences card.
Spec generator expertise level
Section titled “Spec generator expertise level”This controls the vocabulary the AI uses while you’re describing what you want built: whether it asks about “a form to log customer invoices” or about field types and access rules.
- Business — you run the business and don’t write code or configure modules. The AI sticks to plain language: no field types, no Python.
- Functional — you configure Odoo modules and know the platform, but don’t write code. The AI talks in modules, fields, views, and access rights.
- Technical — you write Odoo code. The AI uses full ORM, OWL, and security vocabulary at developer depth.
- Under Spec generator expertise level, click the card for the level you want.
- Click Save. The button is disabled until you’ve picked something different from your current level.
- A checkmark next to the button confirms the save.
You’re also asked to set this the first time you start a generation, and you can change it again from inside that flow later. The profile page is just the place to update your default without starting a new module.
Interface language
Section titled “Interface language”OdoMate’s interface is available in English and Ukrainian. Click your avatar in the top-right corner to open the account menu, then click the language you want — it switches immediately, with no separate save step, and takes you to the same page and tab you were already on.
