Downloading a module

Every generation that produces a module also produces a ZIP archive of it. This page covers the three places you can download that archive from, and what happens once it ages out. To do something with the archive once you have it, see installing a module locally.

The completion screen (see generating your first module) has a Download ZIP button. It downloads the archive for the run you just watched, without needing you to find it anywhere.

Open a module’s card in the Modules Library and click Download. Unlike the completion screen’s link, this always works for as long as the archive exists: clicking it asks OdoMate to sign a new, short-lived link on the spot rather than reusing an old one, so it never goes stale the way the first link does.

A module with more than one version shows a version-history button (v2, v3, and so on) on its card. Open it and each version listed has its own Download button, so you can pull an older attempt even after generating a newer one — rolling back doesn’t delete what came before it.

Archives are kept for 90 days after the generation that produced them. Past that window the file is removed and its Download button is disabled, labelled Archive no longer available — for a specific version in the version-history list, or when every version of a module in the Modules Library has aged out. There’s no way to recover an expired archive; generating the module again (see generating your first module) is the only way to get a fresh one.

A download link only works for the account that generated the module. There’s no way to fetch someone else’s generation by guessing or sharing its ID.
